The Cat in the Hat has become a much bigger pest in Stromedy's latest adventure: a giant spider-like creature with enough webbing to engulf a house. Kyle Godfrey's horror show has drawn about 390,000 views in its first 17 hours with this new chapter.

Despite the title's promise of a "REAL" creature, this is a scripted horror-adventure, complete with a fictional news broadcast and emergency phone alert. The channel says its productions take place on controlled sets with experienced crews.

After the corn-maze hunt we reported here, the setting has widened to Toronto's streets and a trip toward Caledon. Stromedy searches supposed sightings online before Dawson arrives in torn clothes, playing the shaken survivor of an encounter. DK takes the drone up, revealing a park swallowed by enormous webs.

Stromedy even gives the expedition a knowingly practical motive: "Well, I mean, like if we're trying to get views, and if we want to possibly help get to the bottom of this..."

The crew heads out in a Tesla Cybertruck, passing web-coated houses and trees. A cocooned abandoned house gives the drone something to investigate, but getting closer proves expensive: the creature fires a web, and the feed cuts to "CONNECTION LOST." Retrieving the aircraft means leaving the safety of the truck.

The railway tracks promised by the title come later, after webbing tangles a tire. By then, the creature has turned both the crew's aerial lookout and its getaway vehicle into problems.
