The most liked comment under this short is a plea: what show is this? More than a dozen replies have piled up beneath it. The title names Chris and promises a car and a fall from grace, but it never says where the clip comes from.

The edit went up on September 18 on 唐司令说电影, a clips channel whose about text says it makes edits of popular movies and series in After Effects. For more than two weeks it drew a modest few thousand views a day. Then it took off and is now past a quarter of a million. Beyond the question about the show, its small comment section holds one viewer who puts a very exact price on a window.

It is not the channel's only busy short. "Mom Finished His Campaign Project, Brick Won the Election" picked up speed on the same day, and Brick, the youngest Heck from The Middle, runs through much of the recent feed: a lost TV remote, a strange smell in the house. Together they pushed the whole channel to around four times its usual daily views, with the Brick smell short close to two million views within a week.
