Water is a problem. Trusting Brian might be another: Stimpee's DayZ alter ego spends his Badlands adventure making temporary friends in a landscape where dehydration can finish the job before another player does.
Early on, a stranger named Ace succumbs to the heat. Another survivor introduces himself as Brian too, giving Stimpee a namesake to cross the desert with, though companionship does little to improve their prospects. Later, a trip towards a hydroelectric dam gives survival comedy a distinctly treacherous setting. The episode eventually trades walking for a functioning moped, with gunfire providing an incentive to keep moving.
There were no new uploads this week, but "The New DayZ Badlands DLC is Brutal" remains the busiest of Stimpee's active videos, adding views at roughly three times the daily rate of "I Eliminated Every Single DayZ Roof Camper". The older Rust outing "DO NOT Live in the New Rust Apartments" is also drawing viewers, with its premise of exploiting apartment design to rob other players. Different accommodation, familiar hospitality.
Across the channel, the week brought about 2.1 million views while subscribers stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level, rather than in a dramatic lull. Among nearby variety-gaming channels, KingWoolz Games had a particularly busy week and bizlychannel added subscribers; Stimpee sat around the middle for weekly views, with an upload-free schedule and a desert full of unreliable company.
