Posted on November 2, "\"Friendly\" Mom Has No Clue She's About To Be Arrested For Murder" has reached roughly 440,000 views. It reconstructs the American Fork, Utah, case through police footage, family-recorded conversations, phone records and testimony, rather than relying on the interrogations alone.

One consequential exchange comes when Matthew's mother, Diane, hears someone feeding answers to his wife, Kate, during a call. Later, phone records and an AirTag on Matthew's truck establish how his journey from California to Utah was tracked. The documentary follows Kate's guilty plea, Kevin Ellis's murder conviction and Tracey Grist's trial, where the jury also finds her guilty of murder.

The new documentary is the channel's busiest video at present, drawing substantially more daily views than either its preceding husband-focused compilation or its older documentary about Ella Jackson's death. Across the channel, daily viewing is more than twice its usual level, while subscribers increased modestly over the week.

Among nearby true-crime channels, Dire Trip accumulated more weekly views, while Truly Criminal had a smaller viewing week and no subscriber increase. STAYAWAKE's own week combined that modest subscriber growth with a substantial audience for a single, evidence-led reconstruction.
