  1. 2:04The Mod uses Color or Black & White i-Type film and includes USB charging and a film counter.
  2. 2:37Physical controls cover exposure compensation, flash, the self-timer and film ejection.
  3. 4:17Double-exposure tests with Ken demonstrate how contrast between shots affects the combined picture.
  4. 5:51Split mode uses the included splitzer lens attachment, with successful frames and a failed attempt shown.
  5. 7:37Handheld LED lights create light-painting effects in the studio and outdoors.
  6. 8:27An outdoor motion-freeze test shows how cold weather slows film development.

Double exposures are easy to undo on a screen. Instant film makes the experiment rather more committed, and Tyler Stalman's only new upload this week leaves room for both successful pictures and an attempt that doesn't work.

In "Polaroid Mod: Visual Effects on Instant Film", Stalman takes the camera through its physical controls before testing its creative modes. His friend Ken models for double exposures in the studio; a lens attachment called a splitzer lets him divide a frame for separate shots. Handheld LEDs supply the light painting, while an outdoor motion-freeze test brings a practical complication: cold weather slows the film's development.

The video is sponsored by Polaroid, which supplied the camera. That doesn't prevent a clear preference at the end: Stalman would still choose the previously reviewed Flip.

The Mod review drew roughly 6,200 views in its first fourteen hours and is currently the channel's busiest upload. Behind it, "iPhone 18 Pro: A Photographer's Review" has reached about 1.4 million views, with "iPhone Duo: A Photographer's Review" also continuing to bring in daily viewing. His phone-camera work hasn't disappeared just because the new subject ejects its pictures.

Subscribers held steady over the week, and daily viewing is below its usual level. Among nearby tech channels, Alex Ziskind had a much busier viewing week, while fpt. was quieter. For Stalman's readers, the fresh addition is a change of photographic rhythm: fewer screen-based adjustments, more decisions before pressing the shutter.
