Marlow Crop Farm has a year left unless Squirrel connects it to a supply route. Nearby, a livestock farm is offering a grain-delivery subsidy. One threatened business, one paying customer: there is a railway plan taking shape.
"Distant Planks - Transport Fever 3 (Ep 15)" was the most-watched of Squirrel's six uploads this week, reaching about 43,000 views. The subarctic map introduced earlier in the series now needs increasingly joined-up thinking: grain trains serving farms, trucks feeding Downham Market and fertiliser finding a useful journey back rather than leaving wagons empty.
Squirrel buys Atlantic and Russian Class SU steam locomotives, while wondering how much longer steam will remain his choice. The fiddlier problem is getting industries within reach of stations. Warehouses and cargo extensions become tools for closing those awkward gaps.
Viewers have their own transport plans. Several suggest revised routes, bigger station catchment areas or another train; others ask for the next episode. One particularly neat observation contrasts Squirrel's reluctance to buy a closer depot with his willingness to build an elaborate elevated railway. Virtual infrastructure still invites very real back-seat planning.
The weekend broadened the menu with "We're Not Actually Ready" and "November Snowrunning" uploads. Both November parts sit behind "Distant Planks" among the channel's busiest videos by daily views.
Subscribers held steady, and weekly viewing was on the quieter side among nearby simulation and role-playing channels. iSorrowproductions had a substantially busier week, while Deligracy drew fewer views than Squirrel. Here, the most active corner remains that subarctic railway network, where a return load of fertiliser can matter as much as a new locomotive.

Squirrel: We're going to make this new train cross the entire map before it can get going, rather than paying for a new depot closer to the starting point.
Also Squirrel, who has $400m+: Let's build this new rail line entirely as a bridge, except for the part where it is a tunnel.@UnmannedpersonSee it on YouTubeLoving the transport fever 3 content! I’ve been missing some good transport fever videos since you put out some for transport fever 2 years ago. One suggestion - maybe try to splurge on some less profitable lines just for fun. Use the Crocodile or Pennsylvania or Big Boy locomotives!
@ClurdishSee it on YouTube13:00 - The more cost effective alternative is to modify the line itself to drop grain at the meat factory, go to the refinery to pick up half a load of fertilizer, and then go back to the farm.

25:59 there’s a couple of industries producing dyes next to the saw mills. You could take the chemicals you’re producing in Downham Market to these and go back to the printing factory with both dyes and paper

@7T_Primal_WolfSee it on YouTubeThey should implement ticket prices, so that you could regulate the number of people who want to use a certain transportation means - in this instance it could lower the number of people waiting for planes.
