He knew the jig was up 💔

An angry father has a question. Marlon Wayans's character has just worked out something else entirely.

Smirk's Short lifts an apartment confrontation from the 1998 comedy Senseless. Rip Torn's Mister Tyson demands to know what the young man is doing there, then announces that the woman behind him is his daughter. "That's your father?!" comes the startled reply.

The surprise quickly becomes a broad grin. Realizing that her mother must be Black, Wayans's character turns Tyson's interrogation into teasing about his romantic life. The clip cuts almost immediately afterward.

The repost has added about 7.6 million views since yesterday. In the comments, viewers keep returning to that smile, with several imagining the confrontation as the beginning of an unlikely friendship. Smirk adds its own caption and watermark to the film excerpt, making the changing expression the centerpiece of the edit.
