A wandering toddler cuts short a hospital update on Smirk

Viewers turned the corridor cameo into a running gag about speedruns and main quests, giving the clip a far busier comment section than usual.

Lil Bro’s on an adventure 🙏

The man in scrubs, a mask hanging from one ear, has an explanation ready for anyone wondering where the new episode is: he is in a hospital. He gets about two seconds into it before a toddler in a diaper marches across the corridor behind him.

The Short, posted on the meme channel Smirk as "Lil Bro's on an adventure 🙏", cuts briefly to a slowed-down Patrick Star asking whose baby that is. Then the man tries again and gives up halfway through the sentence: "Anyways... So I'm currently in a hospital, I'm just kidding, I gotta grab her."

That abrupt handover from update to rescue is the line commenters quote back most. The rest of the conversation belongs to the toddler's purposeful stride, which viewers have recast as a video game: a speedrunner, a character who spawned in with a main quest, a newcomer asking where the exit is.

About 900 comments arrived in the first day, nearly six times Smirk's usual for a Short. The channel describes its uploads as existing clips reworked with its own captions and edits, and this one is captioned "Just another day on the job".
