Presenter Lubna Bouza says at least 11 countries have urged residents to store essential supplies. She cites French advice to prepare an emergency bag sufficient for three days, with France's Interior Ministry identified onscreen as the source. Japan's government is cited for similar guidance on food and water.

In Britain, the report describes a campaign encouraging households to keep food, water and medicines available to cope with a temporary interruption of services.

Bouza then turns to a different scale of preparedness: a Pentagon plan that, according to the report, would enable major military bases to operate for 90 days without outside support. The onscreen source for that claim is Fox News.
