Akeem Supreme at 220 against Islam at 141: RipRightHD's weight question

The calisthenics creator from Philadelphia argued that weight is an excuse, and his comment section turned into a debate over whether the heavier man was really doing more.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

RipRightHD put fifteen uploads out in seven days, and the one with the most views is a provocation: "Weight Is An Excuse When You Can't Move It," made with fellow calisthenics creator Akeem Supreme. The comments suggest a matchup of the two men across a few routines, with RipRight, often called Islam by his viewers, the much lighter of the pair.

The argument did not stay on the bar. Some viewers back him, saying they know heavy men who out-rep skinny ones and that mastering your own body is the whole point of calisthenics. Others say the bigger man is moving far more weight with every rep, and one suggests the fair test would be RipRight in a weighted vest. A few long-time viewers tease him about a body weight they say has barely changed in years, and one remembers him once calling anything over 200 pounds "victim weight."

The rest of the week leaned practical. Two shoulder pain videos went up a day apart, and "Why Did He Make That Noise | Fix Shoulder Pain Fast" started slowly before picking up, so it is now gathering views quicker than anything else on the channel. A home full-body workout, a pull-up bar review and a walk through South Philly selling products out of a truck filled out the list.

Across the channel, views held close to their usual pace and the subscriber count stood still at 866,000. Among fitness channels of a similar size, Colin Weng is having the standout week, running well above his normal level, while Meli and Chari Hawkins are quieter than usual.
