The buyer gets the red Nissan 180SX. Chris keeps the VS-KF wheels, and that separation turns out to be a particularly difficult part of saying goodbye: "I built this car for the VS-KFs."

Ricer Miata posted two videos this week, with "I Sold One Of My Favorite Cars..." drawing the larger audience at roughly 50,000 views. The sale makes his earlier talk about reducing the project backlog tangible. He walks through the engine bay and the car's history, swaps on MB Battles for its departure and raises the coilovers for transport. Flashback footage gives the 180SX a final drift outing with Orion.

There is a wonderfully mundane interruption to the farewell: getting a Tesla to move around the yard using his phone. Chris watches it creep out of the garage, but an on-screen note eventually reveals that Orion moved it for him. Viewers are discussing both that detour and the attachment people develop to their cars; several also question the order in which the garage's projects are being sold.

The newer upload, "I Can't believe it got this bad...", now supplies the strongest daily momentum. Older videos about knowing when to quit and improving the diesel Golf are also adding views, though at a much gentler pace.

Subscribers held steady, while current daily viewing is above Ricer Miata's usual level. Nearby motoring channel Drift Games is also running above its normal daily pace, while ScannerDanner is quieter than usual.

Back in Chris's shop, the retained wheels already have another home on the black S14. That car also has running issues and fuel-pressure troubleshooting to occupy him: one departure, with work waiting on the next lift.
