my brother diedmy brother died

rekrap1's video about his brother's death has passed three million views, reaching more people than any other regular upload on the channel. Posted on October 29, "my brother died" has moved beyond the totals of the Minecraft challenges and speedrunning videos that usually lead its catalog.

The wider channel received nearly three million views in a day, far above its usual daily audience. Tens of thousands of subscribers joined over the same period. As we reported here, the personal upload had already coincided with a sharp subscriber increase; the latest change is the scale of the viewing.

Until this upload, rekrap1's most watched regular video was "Things speedrunners do that you probably don't understand." The new video now sits above that guide, alongside a recent catalog otherwise largely built around Minecraft Hardcore runs.
