What was Rebel News talking about this week? Mostly Canada, and mostly from the angle its audience expects. Fifteen videos went up, and the one with the fewest words did the most. "Canada Is Gone... 🇨🇦" cleared 100,000 views in under two days, well ahead of everything else posted.
The rest of the week split between Quebec and the Prairies. In Montreal, a rally against what the title calls the "halalization" of Canada's food market. In a separate video, a question about whether forms of Sharia law are being imposed in the country. Out west, residents around Weyburn, Saskatchewan, object to Enbridge's 46-turbine wind project, which one of them calls "an abomination" in the title. Concordia University's $33,000 student handbook drew criticism for its political messaging, and Tommy Robinson turned up in a clip whose title misspells his name.
The newest upload now carries the most momentum. "Did Police Just Ignore A Gruesome Crime Scene?" is a day old and gaining slightly faster than "Canada Is Gone...". The Montreal rally comes third.
Even so, the channel as a whole ran at a bit over half its usual daily views, and the subscriber count held where it was. Most political channels its size had a softer stretch too, Breaking Points and The Majority Report among them. Triggernometry was the exception, running a little above its normal pace.
