Rako adds an "ugly car" to its unlikely animated lifesavers
The car follows a beehive and a tree in a recurring rescue premise, as Rako adds 180,000 subscribers over seven days.
Why this story? The channel went from 1,110,000 to 1,290,000 subscribers this week.
His Ugly Car SAVED Him At The Last SECOND 😱
An ugly car gets to be the hero in Rako's November 7 upload. Its title promises a last-second rescue, giving an unlikely object the same role that a beehive and a tree have already played in the channel's animated stories.
That recurring premise sits alongside a substantial week of growth: Rako added 180,000 subscribers, taking it to about 1.29 million. The beehive story has also passed a million views, as have the sister's rescue from sky giants and a rather less reassuring tale about something scratching from inside a toilet.
These are dramatized animations, not footage of real rescues or encounters. Rako says some stories draw inspiration from real events and others are invented, with scripts, animation, voiceovers and sound built by the team.
The new uploads aren't all last-second escapes, either. A boy recognizes that someone isn't his dad, while a grandmother receives a different stranger each day. Both have drawn more views so far than the car story posted on the same date.
