Rako's birthday presents come from a future self
The animated-story channel adds 200,000 subscribers in a week, with time-travel gifts and an unlikely beehive rescue among its new plots.
Why this story? The channel went from 1,060,000 to 1,260,000 subscribers this week.
His Ugly Beehive SAVED Him At The Last SECOND 😱
Rako has moved beyond its million-subscriber goal, but the target is still sitting in its channel description. Another 200,000 subscribers joined over the past week, taking the animated-story channel to roughly 1.26 million.
Its new birthday story has a premise that needs little introduction: the presents come from the recipient's future self. Elsewhere in Friday's uploads, a beehive becomes a last-second lifesaver and someone gets stuck inside a cooking pot. Familiar objects keep getting decidedly unfamiliar jobs.
These are dramatized animated stories, not documentary accounts. Rako says some draw inspiration from real events while others are invented, with the team writing scripts, building the animation and recording the voiceovers itself.
The beehive rescue also extends a recognizable thread through the channel's titles. An ugly tree has already played the unlikely savior, while several sister-led rescues feature among Rako's most-watched Shorts. The birthday presents offer a different kind of puzzle: help arriving not from someone nearby, but from someone yet to come.
