Una donna trascinata dalle onde del mare viene salvata dai bagnanti con una catena umana
A woman struggling in rough surf near the shoreline is pulled to safety by beachgoers who join hands at Riazor beach in A Coruña, northwestern Spain.
The footage, published by Italy's RaiNews, the news service of public broadcaster RAI, begins with a man trying to reach her. The water pushes him back, while the woman continues struggling to stay afloat just a few yards from the beach.
Others run toward the shore. They form a human chain, holding one another's hands as the person at the front moves into the water. He reaches the woman and begins pulling her toward land.
Another powerful wave strikes the group, knocking some rescuers off their feet. They maintain their grip, however, and together drag the woman out of the surf and onto dry sand, beyond the immediate pull of the waves. The rescue unfolds in less than a minute, without spoken commentary.
