Behind the costume is a personal complaint: the custom games he says E-Day left out helped inspire his channel.

An enormous inflatable mecha suit doesn't stop penguinz0 from delivering a straight-faced complaint about inflated game budgets. It does give the comment section something else to work with: viewers imagine an unexpected character upgrade, an installed mod or a cutscene they've somehow missed.

Posted today, "It's Outrageous Now" has drawn about 1.8 million views in its first thirteen hours. The outfit supplies the visual joke, but the subject is a reported $500 million production budget for Gears of War: E-Day, and what players received for it.

Charlie White shows an IGN report about the budget and low direct sales, then an article citing Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier on the development cost. He questions how spending on that scale can be sustainable, while acknowledging that an Xbox and PC release available through Game Pass complicates the picture presented by copies sold.

His sharpest objection isn't simply the price tag. He says E-Day launched without ranked play or custom games, despite finding the underlying gameplay solid. That second omission has a particular history for him.

"Without custom games in the original Gears of War, I would never even have made a YouTube channel..." he says.

It's a more specific grievance than another complaint about expensive games: the feature he misses is the one that gave him a reason to start making videos. Beneath the blue cap and oversized costume, White is asking why an enormous production couldn't preserve that part of the experience.
