Moving boxes, a Weilong cube and a Minecraft past: Nico Polo's one new video
"We Moved In Together!" went up on September 26 and passed 600,000 views in its first week, nearly half of them on day one.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
We Moved In Together!
"We Moved In Together!" is the only new video on Nico Polo's IRL channel this week, and it carried most of the load. Close to 300,000 views arrived in its first day. A week on, it is still the channel's busiest video by a comfortable margin.
The title says what happens. The comment section adds the small stuff. One viewer, a speedcuber, stops to praise the Weilong cube that turns up on screen. Another catches a quick nod to Inanimate Insanity at the 18-minute mark. A few longtime viewers recall the godbridging videos from his Minecraft days, a reminder of where much of this audience first met him. The tags name Nico and Cash, his Minecraft sidekick.
Two older uploads keep drawing a steady crowd. "My Crush Controls My Life For 24 Hours" is past four and a half million views, and "Whatever You Draw, I'll Buy It!" has passed two million. Both are about four months old.
The channel as a whole ran a little below its usual daily pace, but it still added about 10,000 subscribers in seven days. Among similar challenge channels, Dan woolley is having the loudest week, at more than twice his normal daily views. Zombie Go Boom TV and igor30 are keeping things quiet. With a single upload, Nico's channel sits comfortably in the middle of that group.
