A London cab driver's map-learning challenge gives Nelson Dellis a practical example for his latest reading recommendations. In Robert Lordan's The Knowledge: Train Your Brain Like a Cabbie, he finds a way into the demanding work of learning London's streets.
That is one of four selections in his only upload of the week, which has reached about 24,000 views. Lynne Kelly's Memory Craft covers memory techniques from ancient traditions to modern practice. Even after years of reading on the subject, Dellis says it taught him techniques he hadn't encountered before.
Joe Reddington's Advanced Memory Palaces appeals to what Dellis calls his "inner computer scientist," connecting memorization with data structures. Anthony Metivier's The Victorious Mind takes the recommendations toward meditation and mental well-being. It is a reading list with rather more variety than four versions of the same brain-training manual.
The comments include readers comparing which books they already own, someone reporting that all four have arrived, and a neatly appropriate joke about saving the video and hoping to remember it later.
Subscribers held steady over the week, while daily views are close to their usual level. Among nearby self-improvement channels, Jillz Guerin and Amy Wang drew larger weekly audiences; Captain Sinbad and Amy Landino had quieter weeks than Dellis.
The new recommendations are his busiest upload right now, followed by September's "3 books that will make you smarter 🧠". His Morse code refresher is also finding viewers, continuing a teaching thread whose original lesson has passed ten million views.

I’ve seen a lot of content on how to improve your memory and one thing no influencer has been able to answer me just quite yet is what happens when you misplaced the keys that you’re looking for in your memory palace? Not so effective if you’re forgetful. How are you gonna get anything done without the keys? 😂
