Aryah's first heat, and an unfamiliar vehicle, fill NarroWay Homestead
Fifteen uploads from Nate Petroski's 120 West Virginia acres, with two intact males to keep apart and a barn still going up.

Fifteen uploads, one theme. Nearly everything Nate Petroski posted from NarroWay Homestead circles the same problem: Aryah, one of his livestock guardian dogs, is in her first heat, and the two intact males on the property have, in his words, completely lost their minds.
The longer video sets out the dilemma plainly. The dogs still have to guard the animals and the land from predators, so they can't simply be locked away, and Nate is trying to keep everyone separated while the work goes on around them. That work gets its own update too, on the barn build and on getting the skid steer running again. The shorts follow the saga in pieces, from Az's behavior to a test of whether a new arrangement keeps the dogs apart, the question we wrote about here a few days ago.
The newest short has moved things on. "The dogs hear an unfamiliar vehicle" passed 120,000 views in about fourteen hours, the fastest thing on the channel right now. A construction short about posts rotting in wet ground is quick off the mark as well, and Minion, the homestead's best-known face, kept the lighter side going with a meet and greet and a joke about a lip ring.
Taken together, the channel is drawing roughly twice its usual daily views. Among the outdoors and homesteading channels closest to it in size, Fowler's Makery and Mischief, Kamoka Pearl and The Wooded Beardsman are all a little above their normal pace, but none is as far above its own everyday level as the dogs of Spencer, West Virginia.
