A dart, a map and 100 lakes keep Jon B. fishing between uploads
Three summer adventures, one of them filmed on an untouched Canadian river, are drawing views at almost exactly the same gentle pace.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
3 Days Fishing Canadas Untouched River
No new uploads. Jon B. took the week off, and three of his late-summer fishing trips kept the channel company without much fuss.
The oldest of them, "3 Days Fishing Canadas Untouched River," is a little under two months old and still the busiest of the three by a hair. It was filmed and edited by Asher Davis, and its tags point to the full kit of a Jon B. trip: camping, cooking, bass, lures and a long way from anywhere.
Right behind it sits "Wherever The Dart Lands...I Fish For 24 Hours!", the kind of premise that leaves the destination to luck. It is the biggest of the three by total, past 600,000 views. The newest, "Can I Fish 100 Lakes in 24 Hours?", is barely two weeks old and already moving at the same speed as the others. Three different ideas, one river, one dart and a hundred lakes, and the daily views split almost evenly between them.
Around him, the outdoors channels of a similar size are mostly busy. Nate Petroski is running at roughly double his usual daily pace, and Field Days is well above its normal level too. Jon B., with 1.86 million subscribers, sits in the middle of that group by size, letting the summer's travel stories do the work.
