London Underground stations are not London Underground lines, a distinction that becomes much harder to remember with a countdown running. Vik supplies the former when Simon asks for the latter in "SIDEMEN 5 SECOND CHALLENGE", turning everyday knowledge into a very public wrong answer.
The MoreSidemen upload drew roughly 475,000 views in its first nine hours. Its setup is easy to play along with: name three things in a category before the timer expires. Simon hosts, with guest Jack Joseph joining Ethan and Harry against Tobi, Josh and Vik.
Knowing an answer is only half the job. Harry gets through languages ending in "-ese", while Jack takes too long listing ways to prepare eggs. Josh's homework excuses earn a yellow card when his printer explanations overlap. Ethan's suggestion of "the trench" as somewhere to swim also attracts Simon's scrutiny.
The group has already tried a longer naming countdown in October's "SIDEMEN BEAT THE CLOCK: YOU HAVE 60 SECONDS TO NAME ____". Here, the shorter window leaves much less room to rescue a wandering answer, and double points eventually give way to a winner-takes-all final question.
Jack's appearance has prompted viewers to play with his shared initials with JJ, while others focus on Harry trying to calm himself before answering. One particularly apt observation concerns Jack's timing problem: he keeps trying to fit a paragraph into a game that only needs a list.
