  1. 2:00Charlie limits the cataloging session to games, leaving toys and consoles for another stream.
  2. 3:29He starts lifting stacks of games and asks Archive to track them in a spreadsheet.
  3. 4:33He says he will keep selected items and donate the rest rather than resell them.
  4. 7:54A red Lightning McQueen CRT television interrupts the game sorting.
  5. 10:55His Astro Boy case carries a handwritten completion date from childhood.
  6. 17:15NBA Ballers, NBA Street Vol. 2 and NFL Street prompt memories of arcade-style sports games.

The Astro Boy case comes with proof: a handwritten label reading "Beat Game 8/22 2004." MoistCr1TiKaL used to mark his finished games, preserving the date of a childhood accomplishment right there on the box.

"Games that I beat I used to be really proud of, so I'd write beat the game on them," he explains during "Going through the entire collection," a stream recording on MoistCr1TiKaL Gaming that drew roughly 430,000 views in its first day. That is more than five times the channel's usual opening audience for long videos and streams.

Charlie is sorting a recently acquired collection alongside his own games, with stacks to lift and an off-camera moderator, Archive, enlisted to help keep a spreadsheet. He limits the task to games, leaving toys and consoles for another stream. Even so, a red Lightning McQueen CRT television gets its moment in front of the camera.

The cases bring back specific memories: ESPN NFL 2K5's celebrity AI rosters, and the arcade-sports era of NBA Ballers, NBA Street Vol. 2 and NFL Street. Viewers add their own recollections, including childhood sessions of Tribes 2, while others ask for a complete game list and wonder how he will shelve everything.

This is not a stocktake for resale. Charlie says he will keep selected items and donate what he does not keep. The sorting also has a continuation: "Finishing through the entire collection" is already posted.

What viewers say

  • the nostalgia i feel seeing some of these games is overwhelming
  • I wonder how he plans to store all of these games, I haven’t finished the video (obviously) but I can’t imagine Charlie not having a cool way to shelf the games.

  • I had one person I considered a best friend growing up through elementary and middle school but by the time high school came around we didn't even speak to each other.
One of the most treasured memories I have with that person are the days we would just play tribes 2.
    That game is beyond halo.
It has physics on movement. Weeeeeeeeeee
