My closest title race EVER! | FC 27 Arsenal Career Mode | S1E13
Five uploads, five episodes, one club. MGH, the football and EA FC channel, spent the week running its FC 27 Arsenal career mode almost daily, from episode 9 on September 28 to episode 13 on October 2.
The season has a shape now. Episode 9 opened with a transfer offer big enough to put "HOW MUCH?!" in the title. Episode 10 crowned Christos Tzolis a "GREEK GOD," which is quite a promotion for the winger who made his name at Club Brugge. Then came an unlikely hero, a win-and-lose-together episode, and finally what the title calls Matt's closest title race ever.
The deadline-day episode is the week's most watched, past 55,000 views, and its comment section reads like a transfer committee. The most liked complaint is that deadline day lasts 20 hours instead of 24, and several Arsenal fans are still not over Matt selling Viktor Gyökeres. Others want more Riccardo Calafiori, ask why Ethan Nwaneri came back from loan, or insist, with some confidence, that Kylian Mbappé is never joining Arsenal.
The title-race episode is the one moving fastest now, well ahead of the rest of the run in its first days, which suggests plenty of viewers want to know how the season ends.
The channel overall ran a touch below its usual pace and its subscriber count held still. Among sports-game channels of a similar size, MGH sat seventh of nine for views gained, while ASP FC and AuzioMF had by far the biggest weeks.
