'I KNEW IT,' and a comment section that measures the 2K court
Eight uploads in seven days, nearly all of them past 100,000 views, with viewers under the first one asking about a player called Cashout and courts they say are too small.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I KNEW IT
Badgeplug rarely explains a video in its title, and this week was no exception: "I KNEW IT," "IT FINALLY HAPPENED," "NO WAY" and an "ITS GOING DOWN" followed by a long row of faces. Eight uploads went up, and they behaved like a set. Each one opened with somewhere around 90,000 to 100,000 views in its first day and kept climbing from there.
The titles keep their secrets, so the comments do the explaining. Under "I KNEW IT," the week's most watched upload, the most liked replies circle a player called Cashout and why 2K seemed to act quickly in his case while bigger complaints wait. The rest reads like a list of grievances from people who play every night: five-on-five courts that feel cramped, defense that smothers everything, shots that take a beat too long to start, and speed boosts that are still in the game. One viewer puts it simply: the channel tells him he is not losing his mind.
The newest upload, "It happened. he just QUIT, AGAIN!", is a day old and already the busiest thing on the channel. The channel overall ran slower than its usual pace, though, and the subscriber count held at 1.02 million.
Among the sports and racing game channels nearest its size, Badgeplug gathered the third most views of the week, close to a million. ASP FC and AuzioMF, both deep in football gaming, had much bigger weeks.
