LAUNCHING OUR NEXT GIVEAWAY!! Tune in to see how to win! (Portrait)

Joey doesn't want to play Minecraft. Layla and Marcos have other plans for him, and their live audience has a way to make those plans happen.

META PCs' giveaway broadcast turns into a recruitment effort for its reluctant moderator, alongside hardware questions and a hands-on computer build. The portrait stream drew roughly 45,000 views in its opening seven hours, putting it on course for a first day well above the channel's usual long broadcasts.

The hosts begin with a whispering ASMR routine, until Layla gives up: "I can't keep the bit going anymore." She then introduces the giveaway computer, which Marcos built and which sits behind them on a table.

But Joey supplies the running subplot. The hosts set a fundraising goal that would commit him to a Minecraft stream. He comes into the room to object, while they discuss making him play in hardcore mode. When the goal is reached, the conversation moves to which edition he should play.

Marcos eventually gets to the workbench, unboxing components for a custom Steam Machine build using a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RX 7900 XT graphics card. The computer assembly starts about fifty minutes in, after rather more negotiation over Joey's gaming future.
