Mat Armstrong's non-running £1.7M yacht leaves the Bugattis in its wake

A week old and past 24 million views, the boat is gathering views roughly eighteen times faster than the Veyron that came before it.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Mat Armstrong bought a boat that does not run, and it has become the busiest thing on his channel by a wide margin. "I BOUGHT A NON RUNNING £1.7M LUXURY YACHT" was his only upload of the week, and seven days on it is still pulling in around three million views a day.

The two videos behind it are both about the same car. "I BOUGHT A NON RUNNING BUGATTI VEYRON" is three weeks old and still moving steadily, and "I COMPLETED THE REBUILD BUGATTI SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE" follows at about half its pace. The titles lay out a clear pattern: buy something expensive and broken, then fix it. The yacht simply takes that idea onto the water.

The subscriber count is climbing too, by roughly twenty thousand a day at the moment. That leaves him fifth of nine among the car channels, with ChrisFix and carwow above the eleven-million mark and MotorTrend Channel a short way behind him.
