Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Effie 🤝 Effie. #TheHungerGames: Sunrise on the Reaping – only in theaters & IMAX November 20.

Butterfly-topped pens slide across the table, followed by flowers, little containers and, finally, the books themselves. Lionsgate Movies' most watched new upload is a tiny promotional sketch with a pleasingly literal premise: Effie meets Effie.

Elizabeth Banks, who played Panem's extravagantly dressed escort in the original Hunger Games films, joins Elle Fanning, the younger Effie in Sunrise on the Reaping. Each has a different Suzanne Collins novel to exchange. The short has reached roughly 540,000 views, comfortably the largest audience among the channel's eight new uploads this week.

The comments turn the pairing into a casting wish: some viewers would like Banks and Fanning to play mother and daughter elsewhere. Others point out that both actresses share their character's first initial. It's a small, character-centered interlude amid a rollout that also brought UK fan-event clips featuring Fanning, Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak and Ralph Fiennes.

Across the channel, the week brought about 12 million views and continued subscriber growth. Daily viewing is currently below its usual level, though the weekly total is among the strongest in this nearby studio group. Warner Bros. Classics had a larger weekly audience; Harry Potter and A24 are both drawing above their usual daily viewing.

Away from Panem, the older Above the Below trailer carries the most momentum. Its astronauts' disastrous landing on the ocean floor has kept drawing viewers, taking the Idris Elba survival thriller's trailer past ten million views.
