only theater kids will understand this... (iykyk)

Kalitaku lip-syncs a hungry plant's demands with giant tooth-lined jaws rising behind her and long vines hanging from her green-and-red outfit. Against a red backdrop, the question on screen is almost modest: "is this costume too niche?"

The character is Audrey II, the carnivorous plant from Little Shop of Horrors. Kalitaku's Short, "only theater kids will understand this... (iykyk)", turns the costume into a brief musical performance, complete with gestures to the borrowed audio. She isn't speaking in her own voice: the plant's appetite comes courtesy of the musical's soundtrack.

The clip reached about 272,000 views in nine hours, already well beyond her usual full-day Shorts audience. The comment section was nearly ten times as busy as a typical first day, too. Viewers identify Audrey II, explain the reference to anyone missing it and question whether Little Shop really counts as niche. One mentions a school production of the musical.

Audrey II is getting attention in more than one upload. A separate costume try-on also drew an unusually large audience. After Kalitaku's flower-covered Te Fiti transformation, this is another green character with a very different disposition: less island goddess, more demanding houseplant.
