The salute is synchronized. So are the side steps, the pointing and the swaying, though viewers have questions about how freely either performer can move.

Kalitaku's SpongeBob-and-Patrick Short puts two familiar Bikini Bottom residents side by side in full body paint and character costumes. The pair frame their faces with their hands, smile into the camera and finish with a shared shout. It is a costume reveal performed as a tiny dance routine, rather than a tutorial on making the outfits.

The clip reached roughly 866,000 views in 11 hours, well beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for Shorts. In the comments, viewers keep returning to the apparently restricted movement, while others point out the sponge-hole detailing. Several also say they spotted Plankton in the background.

The underwater pairing is only part of Kalitaku's Halloween wardrobe. Other uploads show a transformation into Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, including the attempt to put on a towering candle wig. Kalitaku describes the Disney film as a childhood favorite: a different costume problem, with considerably more height involved.
