Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Flying across the country to SURPRISE my best friend (GONE WRONG)

A large plastic bag is precious carry-on luggage when it holds a handmade floral crown. Kalitaku keeps Sophie's costume piece with her through airport security and in her lap on the plane, turning a delivery into a surprise visit.

"Flying across the country to SURPRISE my best friend (GONE WRONG)" drew roughly 235,000 views, the largest audience among her new uploads this week. The complication is travel rather than crafting: a storm, a delayed departure and turbulence stand between Newark and Los Angeles. The Short ends after landing, before Sophie gets her surprise.

That journey sits inside a busy run of 15 uploads. "MAKING a halloween costume for my BEST friend! (DIY)" attracted almost as many views as the flight, while the newer "SURPRISING my best friend with her dream halloween costume (OMG)" is currently drawing the most daily views on the channel. Viewers are already suggesting another costume pairing for the friends: Daphne and Velma.

There is plenty happening beyond the floral delivery, too. An Alice in Wonderland character reveal and wearing costumes in public join the week's lineup. "Turning myself into the STATE OF LIBERTY 🗽" and a first attempt at body paint are also among the uploads carrying the most momentum right now.

Across the channel, the week brought roughly 12.6 million views and a growing subscriber audience, although the current daily viewing pace is slightly below usual. Nearby in the crafts-and-making world, Sam Builds also added subscribers, while Nakshi Kantha World is having an unusually busy viewing day. For Kalitaku, the most active new chapter is now the costume handoff that required a plane ticket.
