Master Builder Alec's left-handed fix becomes Mr. Emphasis
A viewer's pointer-hand correction grows into a hinged LEGO figure with a habit of falling apart.

Maybe not every idea should be built...
Alec owes his latest character to a perfectly reasonable correction: both of his LEGO pointer hands were right-handed. He apologizes, consigns himself to the "Wall of Shame" (actually a corner), and flips the thumb pieces. "Easy fix," he says. Naturally, he keeps building.
In "Maybe not every idea should be built...", the hands gain a Technic mechanism, reinforced wrists, a torso, legs and an expressive yellow head. The resulting Mr. Emphasis points with both hands and has rather less structural composure than his creator intended. His first assembly falls apart; a later demonstration sends him collapsing toward the camera.
That Short was the most watched of Master Builder Alec's four new uploads, reaching about 1.4 million views. Viewers are discussing the escalation from a left-handed pointer to an entire unsettling character, the sudden pauses after things fall apart, and the geographical inconsistency of a Wall of Shame that's a corner and an Interpretation Corner that's a wall.
Mr. Emphasis already has a second outing. "Maybe I was too harsh on Mr. Emphasis..." now carries the channel's strongest daily viewing momentum. Elsewhere, "LEGO System vs. Technic (and a little pointer hand that uses both)" supplies the construction lesson, while "THE CAFFINATOR (or totally reasonable uses for LEGO coffee mugs)" gives tiny mugs a superhero backstory: Alec describes the character as a café shift supervisor taking security much too seriously.
The channel added roughly 10,000 subscribers over the week, with daily views a little above their usual level. Among the nearby craft and maker channels, Howard Lee and BRIKLE are also seeing elevated daily viewing, while ellieV is quieter than usual. Alec's week has its own particularly specific achievement: a corrected thumb has become a recurring cast member.
