Wife’s Secrets Revealed Following Horrific Discovery: The Murder of Sherry Jutson | True Crime Doc
One case this week, told the way the channel promises to tell all of them: step by step, without commentary. "Wife’s Secrets Revealed Following Horrific Discovery: The Murder of Sherry Jutson | True Crime Doc" goes back to a spring morning in 2023 in College Station, Texas, where Sherry Jutson, a wife and mother, was killed in the bedroom of her family home. The description sets out what made the morning so strange: no one heard anything, yet a series of phone calls with cryptic messages sent her stepdaughter racing to the house. She broke through the door, but it was already too late.
In the comments, many viewers come back to that stepdaughter: the 911 call, the CPR, and how she looked after the children in the middle of it all. Many others ask a plainer question, why divorce was not the answer.
The documentary has passed 200,000 views in three days and is easily the busiest thing on the channel. Behind it, the November 2021 case of Alishah Pointer, who went missing from East Cleveland the day before her 22nd birthday, is still finding viewers two weeks on, and the case of George Cox Jr, also from Cleveland, is past a million.
Overall it was a slower stretch than usual, with daily views well below their normal level and about a thousand new subscribers. Among the true crime and courts channels close to its size, Brian Entin and Mike Rafi had the big weeks, while JustThoughtLounge was one of the quieter ones.
