JohnnyQ90 sends a tiny twin-cylinder Alfa onto the asphalt
The week's only upload takes a miniature nitro engine from clutch assembly to parking-lot donuts.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
8.6cc Twin Cylinder 4 Stroke Nitro Engine
Timing belts whirl, coolant circulates and a tachometer climbs past 17,000 rpm. JohnnyQ90's new miniature-engine test gives the machinery its close-up before putting it to work beneath a silver Alfa Romeo body shell.
"8.6cc Twin Cylinder 4 Stroke Nitro Engine" is the week's sole upload, with roughly 6,800 views in its first thirteen hours. There is no spoken commentary: hands reassemble the clutch, a servo operates the throttle, and a thermal camera checks the cylinders before the engine goes into a custom RC chassis with its own radiator.
Then comes the asphalt. The car runs both with and without its shell, making the difference between a display engine and a working little drivetrain rather easy to appreciate. Full-throttle passes give way to cornering and donuts with the Alfa body back in place.
The comments are pleasingly mechanical, too. Viewers pick out the carburetor arrangement, ask about alternative exhausts and wonder whether a diesel conversion could work. Those are questions, not modifications the video demonstrates.
The twin-cylinder test is now the channel's busiest upload, narrowly above the flat-four finishing and startup video from early October. That older project's assembly installment also continues to draw views. Across the channel, weekly viewing reached about 2.4 million, while subscribers stayed unchanged and daily viewing ran below its usual level.
Among nearby motoring channels, WD Detailing had a larger week of viewing and VINwiki a quieter one. JohnnyQ90's particular contribution remains smaller in scale: exposed belts, working cooling and an engine that actually gets its car moving.
