  1. 0:00Jack sets Oscar two tasks: identify the locations and uncover each custom map's hidden theme.
  2. 0:41The first map restricts countries to names beginning with J, A, C or K.
  3. 10:17A second map uses countries with newly added coverage; Oscar's theme guess comes at 13:08.
  4. 13:30The capital-city map begins, with Jack later guessing outside Warsaw to conceal the connection.

Countries beginning with J, A, C or K: Jack Massey Welsh has built himself into the map, and Oscar has to work out what connects the locations. The extra puzzle in "Geoguessr but the Pro doesn't know the map" gives the GeoGuessr pro known as zi8gzag something to solve beyond where to place his pin.

Oscar starts looking for technical patterns in the Street View imagery instead. Later, Jack tries another kind of concealment, placing a guess slightly outside Warsaw so he won't give away a capital-city theme. Knowing the secret and keeping it secret turn out to be rather different skills. Viewers pick up on the recurring cuts between Jack predicting what Oscar won't notice and Oscar promptly noticing it; others explain that the Spanish phrase "capital de trabajo" means working capital, not a geographical clue.

The hidden-map upload has reached about 122,000 views, the largest audience among the week's five releases and the channel's busiest video right now. A greatest-guesses compilation also arrived, compiled by @jackuw from footage originally edited mainly by Becky and Kai. Beyond the new uploads, "Is This The Best New Geography Game?" remains a substantial source of daily viewing.

JackSucksAtGeography added roughly 1.4 million views over the week while subscribers held steady. Daily viewing is currently a little below its usual level. Among nearby education channels, WatchData had a slightly larger weekly views gain, while Philosophy Tube is enjoying a busier-than-usual daily audience. Jack's week, meanwhile, found its most watchable puzzle in the letters of his own name.

What viewers say

  • the cuts from Jack saying "Oscar won't know ___" to Oscar immediately pointing said thing out are always my favorite
  • "capital de trabajo" means "working capital", as in the money a business has available

  • Geoguessr but the map is replaced by a picture of Jack's face
And they need to gradually learn which part of his face corresponds with which location

  • I find it funny that Oscar always considers it’s a certain generation of coverage as if Jack would pick that as a map haha
