The everyday gets complicated. ISMO's four uploads turned ordinary encounters and expressions into comedy, with "ISMO | Seeing a Doctor in America" drawing the week's largest audience among the new releases.
The appointment routine gives bureaucracy the full ISMO treatment. He contrasts booking an available doctor in Finland with navigating insurance and asking whether an American practice accepts new patients. Even a restaurant's innocent question about whether he has visited before starts sounding suspicious. An automated emergency message then gives him another instruction to examine far too literally.
Viewers have carried the premise into the comments: one newcomer jokingly asks whether the channel accepts new subscribers. Others recognize the appointment-booking frustration from Australia and Germany, giving this American routine a wider geographical reach.
"ISMO | Chivalry 101: The Door" actually had the stronger opening day, though the doctor routine now has more total views and a slightly faster daily pace. Alongside them came the tour announcement "ISMO | Coming to a City Near You!" and Friday's "ISMO | Cool as a Cucumber: Part 1," another English expression ready for inspection.
Across the channel, the week brought nearly 12 million views and 17,000 additional subscribers. Daily viewing is running well above its usual level. Among the nearby stand-up channels, Mario Adrion had the largest weekly viewing gain, with ISMO next; Finlay Christie is also seeing an elevated daily pace.
The Finland-America comparisons extend beyond the new uploads. October's "ISMO | Addressing People in Finland vs America" remains the third-strongest source of daily views, behind the doctor and doorway routines.
