Idols Global found a family resemblance worth listening to in its most watched new upload: Baylee Littrell performing an original song, then inviting his Backstreet Boys dad into the audition room.

"When a Backstreet Boy's Boy Auditioned for American Idol" revisits Baylee's 2025 appearance before Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan. He talks about wanting an identity beyond his father's career, with one inheritance apparently ruled out: "Dance moves-wise, that's the one thing genetically that did not pass down."

The music makes a more persuasive connection. Baylee plays guitar for "Waiting on Myself to Die", then Bryan asks whether father and son ever sing together. Brian comes in from the hallway and joins the chorus. Underwood's response focuses on Baylee holding his own beside his famous dad. The upload has reached roughly 7,000 views.

There were five new uploads altogether. Cate Gartner's original song about motherhood returned, as did Will Moseley's "Gone For Good" audition, complete with Richie delivering his verdict by video call from a car. A finale selection paired Hannah Harper, Keyla Richardson and Jordan McCullough's Alicia Keys covers with their performance alongside Keys herself.

The newest compilation, "Top 25 American Idol Auditions of All Time!", currently has the strongest daily momentum, with Baylee's standalone clip close behind. An earlier Lucas Leon upload, featuring Brad Paisley's surprise Grand Ole Opry invitation, also remains active.

Across the channel, the week brought nearly 700,000 views and an unchanged subscriber total. Daily viewing is now about half above its usual level, while the main American Idol channel is closer to its normal pace. Baylee and Cate also appear in the new compilation, giving both auditions a second home within this week's releases.
