Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Is This The Best Original Song We've Ever Had??

Hannah Harper's audition song gets a finale reprise, and viewers are reaching for country-music comparisons. Under Idols Global's "Is This The Best Original Song We've Ever Had??", the conversation includes Dolly Parton and Alison Krauss, a more specific answer than the title's deliberately grand question.

The American Idol 2026 performance of "String Cheese" drew roughly 35,000 views and was the channel's most-watched new upload. It also carries the most daily momentum right now. Harper appears again in "Tear-jerker Moments: Emotional American Idol Auditions", a longer collection spanning several seasons, with singers including Slater Nalley, Payton Riley and Sheldon Riley.

The finale selections bring some familiar recording artists into the mix. Nelly joins Chris Tungseth for "Cruise", the Florida Georgia Line song whose remix featured the rapper. Tori Kelly performs "Confetti" with Daniel Stallworth and Jordan McCullough, giving the week's guest appearances a different vocal flavor.

Meanwhile, "Unexpected Stars: American Idol Auditions" opens with Jennifer Jeffries and is already the channel's second-busiest upload by daily views. Kelly's trio performance follows it, so the strongest activity is concentrated in this week's releases rather than an older archive favorite.

Subscribers held steady at about 3.1 million. Elsewhere in the talent-and-entertainment neighborhood, Taskmaster and BondiRescue had substantial viewing weeks and added subscribers. Idols Global's own week stayed firmly on the American Idol stage, moving between the first audition and the finale return.
