A whispered update wipes out a squad's enthusiasm in Hew Moran's latest sketch. The commander, his face covered by a Rockstar Games logo, has just asked whether his soldiers are ready for war. They are. Unfortunately, the schedule isn't.

This is a staged GTA 6 joke, not an announcement of another game delay. Moran transfers the familiar frustration of waiting for a release into a military briefing: the commander announces that war has been postponed for five more years. The soldiers scream, and one drops his helmet.

The Short drew nearly 190,000 views within nine hours, putting its estimated first-day pace at more than five times Moran's usual Short. In the comments, several viewers say they initially took the delay headline literally; others ask him not to jinx the release or give Rockstar ideas.

Moran has often brought game logic into everyday life, from his Fortnite Kid sketches to a video about real-life inventories. Here, he reverses the arrangement: even an army has to endure a video game's release schedule.
