The channel's prospective matchup pairs Kimura's karate-based style with Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin, rather than announcing a booked fight.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Mona Kimura Has the PERFECT Opponent... But Who Is She?

Karate against Muay Thai is the question keeping FTC Boxing's archive busy. In "Mona Kimura Has the PERFECT Opponent... But Who Is She?", the narrator proposes Thai fighter Duangdawnoi Looksaikongdin, known as Little Star, as an intriguing match for Kimura. It's a matchmaking suggestion, not a confirmed bout.

The short commentary compares their size and experience, then places the imagined meeting in the wider tradition of Japanese and Thai striking contests, with footage of Buakaw, Rodtang and Takeru. The upload is approaching three million views and is currently the channel's busiest individual video.

FTC Boxing posted nothing new this week, but its existing uploads collected roughly 1.1 million views. Another Kimura story is also doing substantial work: "Mona Kimura Was STUNNED... Then This Happened" recounts her extra-round victory over Marine Nicol at K-1 WORLD MAX 2026. The description credits a change in her combination work with helping her secure the decision.

Beyond Kimura, the Dakota Ditcheva-Taila Santos retrospective remains active, giving women's striking a prominent place among the channel's strongest sources of viewing.

Subscribers increased modestly over the week, while today's viewing is close to the channel's usual daily level. Among nearby combat-sports channels, WWE NXT had a larger subscriber gain and viewing above its usual daily level; THE MMA GURU had no weekly subscriber gain. For FTC Boxing, the continuing draw is an unanswered sporting question: how would Kimura's style hold up against Little Star?
