Lewis Hamilton keeps the spotlight on champion Kimi Antonelli
F1's Mexico post-race interviews draw an unusually busy discussion, with Hamilton's change of subject and a podium of champions among the talking points.
Why this story? The video drew 1,686 comments in its first day, 6.4 times a normal first day on this channel (264).

Ferrari's missed opportunity to win in Mexico gives Lewis Hamilton plenty to discuss. But he would rather direct attention to the young Mercedes driver celebrating a world title.
"Kimi just won the World Championship, youngest World Champion ever, you know, I'd love to keep on that focus," Hamilton says in FORMULA 1's "Drivers React After The Race | 2026 Mexico Grand Prix".
That redirection has become a talking point beneath the interview compilation. Viewers discuss Hamilton steering the conversation towards Antonelli, while others pick out a podium shared by three generations of champions: Hamilton, race winner Max Verstappen and Antonelli.
The comments arrived more than six times as fast as on the channel's usual first day for regular videos. Views, by contrast, were ordinary for this channel. It is the conversation around the race, rather than an exceptional viewing total, that stands out.
Antonelli's own reaction is less measured: "We did it. We did it and I'm, I'm just so happy." His interview leads into footage of the podium celebrations.
Elsewhere, the compilation returns to the afternoon's harder work. Verstappen describes defending with Hamilton close behind, Charles Leclerc accepts that his penalty was deserved, and Liam Lawson explains how an unlucky safety car left him fighting back into the points. Lawson's recovery is another recurring subject in the comments.
The championship celebrations extend beyond this upload, too. Separate videos show Sebastian Vettel's congratulatory message and Antonelli's response, connecting the new youngest champion with the driver whose record he has taken.
