Max Verstappen's radio message is blunt: "Yeah I must have a problem with my car, it's undriveable." Kimi Antonelli's afternoon in Austin goes rather more smoothly, with a clean pit stop helping turn pole position into another victory.
FORMULA 1's "Race Highlights | 2026 United States Grand Prix" drew an estimated six million views in its first day, roughly fourteen times the channel's usual start for regular videos. The championship was within Antonelli's reach coming into the race. He leaves without the title, but closer to it.
The contrast is in the pit lane. Antonelli makes a one-stop strategy work, while Verstappen stops twice and reports problems with driveability and engine braking. After the Red Bull driver's slower second stop, Antonelli sweeps back into the lead at Turn 1.
Behind him, Charles Leclerc supplies the late movement. He follows Verstappen past Lando Norris, then passes Verstappen himself to put Ferrari second. Viewers are discussing Ferrari's strategy and Leclerc's exchanges with Max, alongside praise for Liam Lawson's drive farther down the order.
There is a less cooperative radio exchange, too. Asked to let Verstappen through, Isack Hadjar objects that he will lose race time before eventually yielding. The channel has since given that moment its own clip, titled "This Wasn't Optional 😅".
Antonelli's own finish comes with a very different message from his engineer: "That was a beautiful drive, mate. Awesome job on strategy, perfectly executed race."

Leclerc with a barn stormer of a race, kept it interesting. Ferrari actually getting the strategy right and likely would have had that double podium if it wasn't for the VSC.
