10,000 VS 10,000 Player Minecraft War

Escaping prison turns out to be the straightforward part. In FlameFrags' only upload of the week, he needs an army, but the faction he approaches can barely agree on who is in charge.

"10,000 VS 10,000 Player Minecraft War" drew nearly two million views in its first twelve hours. This is a staged cinematic story on Unstable Universe, the Minecraft server created by FlameFrags, Parrot, Wemmbu and Spoke, rather than an unscripted account of a server conflict.

The opening sends FlameFrags from a confrontation with LettuceK to LAW headquarters, where SargeLAW admits the faction is in no position to fight CinderCrest. A succession book offers little clarity. FlameFrags proposes himself for command, and his introduction to the troops meets understandable skepticism. Morr0w_ asks Sarge whether this is irresponsible, while OrionCat communicates through signs.

His approach to preparing the faction is rather less bureaucratic: blow up a plaza with TNT and turn it into a training ground and gear station. Then a scout reports an enemy outpost across the bridge, bringing the war uncomfortably close to home.

The new upload is comfortably the channel's busiest video right now. "Escaping Terminus: The Deadliest Minecraft Prison" continues drawing viewers behind it, followed by the older "3 Minecraft Pros VS 1000 Hunters." Across the channel, daily viewing is running at nearly four times its usual pace.

FlameFrags added roughly 20,000 subscribers over the week, the same weekly gain as fellow Minecraft creators Farzy and Spoke. Farzy had a much larger week of viewing, while rekrap2 had a quieter one with no subscriber increase.

Among the new video's comments, a smaller development gets its own place in server history: FlameFrags actually using an elytra rather than burning one. Even a faction war leaves room for a running joke about equipment.
