My Best Friend is Slowly Disappearing...

Dragon is leaving for university, and Dolphin wants their final server adventure together to count. In "My Best Friend is Slowly Disappearing...", the plan is to help his longtime friend finish first in a Minecraft kill competition, with Mugm_ recruited to complete Team Hydra.

The server does not cooperate. An early scouting trip costs Mugm_ an elimination, and Dragon ends the opening day at the bottom of the leaderboard. Dolphin's narration gives the PvP scramble a more personal purpose than simply collecting better armor: he wants his friend to have a memorable send-off.

Dolphin posted nothing new this week, but that October adventure now carries the strongest daily momentum among his videos, with roughly 840,000 views in total. August's "I Became a Secret Supervillain" is close behind in daily viewing, while the year-in-the-making Bliss SMP story, "How a Minecraft SMP Drove Me Insane", remains another active part of the catalog. Dolphin says those latter two stories came from unscripted servers, with some scenes re-recorded or rearranged for storytelling.

The channel added roughly 2,000 subscribers over the week, although daily views are running at less than half their usual pace. Among nearby Minecraft channels, unsorted guy had an almost identical weekly viewing total, while Johnny World had a much larger week. For Dolphin, the busiest older upload has shifted from the sprawling Bliss SMP saga to a mission built around one friend's approaching departure.
