  1. 0:23The rare Inky Piranha Plant can be defeated using Taunt Balls.
  2. 4:34Maximum-level flagpole behavior and alternate Broque Monsieur dialogue reveal easily missed details.
  3. 12:28Mini status, equipment interactions and the critical-hit formula get a closer examination.
  4. 14:08Tests show Luigi's equipment does not affect Mario in the Dream World.
  5. 22:23Early concept art includes a mountain of Luigis carrying Mario.
  6. 23:18An unused, functional battle arena is modeled after Peach's Castle.

Even a full playthrough can miss an enemy. In "Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Secrets", chuggaaconroy introduces the Inky Piranha Plant, which he never encountered during his run, then demonstrates how Taunt Balls help defeat it. It's an appropriately obscure starting point for his farewell sweep through the game.

The week's only upload has reached roughly 77,000 views. Rather than another chapter in the adventure, it's a clearing-out of the notebook: hidden dialogue, alternate cutscenes, equipment interactions and boss attacks that players might never see. Near the end comes a particularly curious leftover, a fully functional but unused battle arena modeled after Peach's Castle.

There is room for tiny absurdities, too, including a missing polygon in Giant Luigi's hair. Elsewhere, the detective work gets mathematical as he lays out the critical-hit formula and tests how Dreamy Luigi's stats affect Mario. The bonus episode treats an unfinished visual detail and a combat calculation as equally worthy discoveries.

Viewers are discussing Broque Monsieur's easily missed dialogue, remembering their special-edition Dream Team handhelds and suggesting another alternate cutscene to add to the pile. Several also single out these end-of-series bonus videos as a tradition they look forward to.

Across the channel, viewing is close to its usual daily level, with just over half a million views added over the week and the subscriber count unchanged. Nearby variety-gaming channel bizlychannel had a much busier week and added subscribers, while Bigpuffer's daily viewing is running below its usual level.

Dream Team supplies all three of chuggaaconroy's most active uploads: the secrets roundup, the post-game episode and the finale. The adventure has ended, but its optional corners are getting their own turn.

  • This is one of those games where I will remember it forever. No matter how old I get, I will always love this game even with its flaws. Mario RPGS made me play earthbound and other wonderful games like this. Thank you for playing this and letting me relive my childhood once again
  • Although I struggled to keep up with this LP, this game has so much love and details poured into it as much of the Mario RPGs do. This was a ton of fun.
  • This series felt like it came and went in a blink of an eye but I'm so glad he covered this game, I played this one so much when it came out so when it started I felt so excited, many thanks for the LP chuggaa
