"We Joined The ARMY in Minecraft.." is a scripted adventure using custom military mods, weapons and vehicles. Posted today, it has drawn roughly 120,000 views in a little over two hours.

Cash, Nico, Zoey and Shady initially doubt the news of General's capture. Then an iron golem soldier reveals that a spy has infiltrated their base and takes them to an underground planning room. The board gives their assignment a suitably direct name: "OPERATION: THE RESCUE."

The route is less glamorous. Soldier leads them through a sewage system toward enemy territory, where finding spare uniforms gives the group a chance to walk among the opposition rather than shoot their way through every doorway. An enemy assembly and two guards eating donuts become obstacles to keeping that disguise intact.

By the prison block, Cash is trying an ordinary workplace explanation: "Hello, sir, we're here for our shift." The mission has become as much about pretending to belong as handling the weapons, and getting General out of his cell still leaves the journey home.
