US R&B singer Chris Brown has been given an eight-month suspended prison sentence for affray arising from a London nightclub incident in 2023, Britain's BBC News reports.
Prosecutors described the incident as a "vicious and unprovoked attack," according to the report. Brown, 37, pleaded guilty to the charge in July.
The brief footage shows Brown leaving court in a black leather jacket, cap, sunglasses and face mask. Security personnel accompany him through a crowd of photographers and onlookers before he gets into a black vehicle, with people continuing to film on their phones.
A suspended sentence does not require immediate imprisonment, but it can be activated if its conditions are breached. The report announces the sentence without detailing the suspension period or any conditions imposed by the court.
American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer and actor, born in 1989.
