Alex the Trucking Guy makes the case for coming home
His career-advice clip favors local routes, while a Kentucky haul fills out a four-upload week.

is trucking worth it?...👏👏
Alex stands outside near the semis in a high-visibility jacket and gives prospective drivers an answer that isn't simply yes or no. Trucking can be a way into a better-paid career, he says, but living in the truck is a different bargain from driving it.
"is trucking worth it?...👏👏" was the most watched of his four new uploads, reaching about 21,000 views. He explains the appeal of entering without a college degree, then points out the catch in company-funded training: deductions or repayment contracts can follow. His clearest recommendation is local work, with the chance to get home daily.
"Something that a lot of truckers don't talk about is the extreme isolation," Alex says. The comments turn that warning into a conversation among drivers: some describe switching from over-the-road work to local jobs, while another suggests regional routes as a middle ground. The distinction matters more here than a blanket verdict on the profession.
The rest of the week's uploads keep the road-life side in view: "Life on The Road: USA Edition", "a day in my life...👏👏" and "Taking My Home On Wheels Down South To Kentucky". The Kentucky trip currently draws the most daily views of his videos, just above the advice clip. Last month's delivery for GP Transco also remains among his busiest uploads.
Across the channel, the week brought roughly 218,000 views, with subscribers holding steady. Daily viewing is a little below its usual level. Nearby in the machinery world, MURPHYS DIESEL had a much busier week and added subscribers; Alex's quieter stretch put the practical question of how to live with the job front and center.

What viewers say
You can do regional which is the happy medium. You're not over the road too much and come home every weekend. You have to get in where you fit in trucking. Do what works for you. Its not one size fits all.
