Alessya Farrugia's channel is passing 300 million lifetime views, built on the promise in her about text: an online older sister for self-care, beauty, fitness and the hard days in between. Nothing new went up this week, and the channel is running above its usual daily pace anyway.

Most of that comes from one video. "taming my skin texture" is 42 days old and nearing a million views, and it is still drawing far more each day than anything else she has posted.

Behind it, two longer talks keep finding people. Her ultimate guide to confidence, now more than two years old, walks through confidence myths before moving through the physical, social and authentic kinds. The breakup video from about five months ago is a different thing: the one she made after a year away, taking viewers through each stage of healing, from no contact to what she calls rebirth. Both are moving at almost the same gentle pace, which suggests people are still arriving at the older, more personal videos as well as the skincare.
