Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

NO DOGS ALLOWED! So they improvised 😅

The dogs arrive in costume, bucket ready, only to meet a handwritten "NO DOGS" sign. AGuyAndAGolden's homeowner has rules. The dogs have access to a neighbor's Halloween animatronics.

That is the setup for the staged comedy sketch "NO DOGS ALLOWED! So they improvised 😅", which has drawn about 632,000 views. Two golden retrievers appear as Scooby-Doo and Velma, while a small white dog wears a Mystery Machine costume. After being refused candy, they send much taller substitutes to the doorstep: the Joker, Michael Myers and Frankenstein's monster, activated with a floor button.

The homeowner admires the costumes and hands over candy. A friendly attempt to shake Frankenstein's hand finally exposes the arrangement. In the comments, viewers keep returning to the scream, the paw knocks and the miniature Mystery Machine.

All three uploads had a seasonal mischief theme. "When getting sent to the doghouse means party time! 🎃🎉" supplied the next-largest audience, followed by "The Golden Retriever Trick or Treat THIEF!" The doorstep sketch is also attracting the most daily views, while the older "We made the spookiest doghouse in the world!" remains among the channel's active draws.

Across the channel, daily viewing is running at nearly twice its usual level, although the subscriber count was unchanged over the week. Natural Habitat Shorts had a particularly busy week among nearby pet-and-animal channels; AGuyAndAGolden added roughly 11.6 million views of its own, with the newest canine candy scheme giving that library another lively entry.
